June 4th -Yum! East

A fundraising event which features 30 East Nashville restaurants along with tasty craft beer and wine and live music.

Time : 6pm-9pm

June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th – Movies in the Park

Every Thursday in June at Elmington Park, the Nashville Scene hosts Movies in the Park – a free event that includes food trucks, vendors, games and a movie starting a dark.

  • June 4th- The Lego Movie
  • June 11th- Jurassic Park
  • June 18th- 101 Dalmations
  • June 25th – Big Hero 6

June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th – Musicians Corner

Musicians Corner takes place every Saturday during the months of May, June, September and October.  It’s free, family friendly, and open to the public.  Event includes food trucks, beer and wine garden, kids activities and of course, music.

Time : 12-5pm

Location : Centennial Park

June 11th-14th – CMA Festival

What is CMA Fest?  It’s only a 4-day country music festival that takes place on 7+ stages on Riverfront and surrounding areas and the main shows at LP Field.  Everything outside of LP Field is free and everything at LP Field, you’ll need a pass for.

June 11th-14th – Bonnaroo

Country music not your thing?  Then check out the other huge music festival in Tennessee going on at the same time this year.  Another 4-day music festival set ‘on the farm’ in Manchester, TN (about an 1.5 hours away from Nashville).

June 13th – Celebrity Softball Game

Every year, country music’s biggest stars come together at the Nashville Sounds stadium for a fundraising game to benefit research and treatment for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.

Time : 9am

June 20 – SuperCool FunFest

June 26-28 – Nashville Flea Market

The Nashville Flea Market is one of the best flea markets in the country.  I’ve told people traveling here to check it out if it falls on the weekend they are coming (4th weekend of every month; 3rd weekend in December).  It’s huge and you can find just about everything from expensive antiques to a pack of gum.  Check out my write-up on the market over at Souvenir Finder.
