Top 9 Instagram Photos of 2015

This has been one crazy year for me.  Not at all what I expected 2015 to be.  Not necessarily a bad thing but quite literally not what I planned.  I left for Southeast Asia in November 2014 for what I thought would be the better part of the year meaning I wouldn’t even be back stateside until fall of 2015.  But, after coming back home extremely early, I began 2015 in Michigan.  We quickly decided Michigan wasn’t the place for us to start a brand new moving business with literally $0 capital so we packed up our things and moved back to Tennessee.

We haven’t done nearly as much traveling this year as I would have liked.  I’ve had to cancel several trips due to the new business but I also had some opportunities I didn’t necessarily plan on either.  I traveled to Germany for the first time (and fell in love with the Dresden), went to Florida with my grandma (awww, I know), went to Bonnaroo for my first time ever and had one of the best experiences of my life (yes, we’re going again in 2016!), and visited my brother in St Louis since he just recently moved there.  On top of all that, we also attended tons of festivals locally and have gotten to explore more and more of my wonderful hometown.

Here’s to 2016 | Hopefully it will be full of more travel!

Gorgeous images – loving Dresden, but I’m also fascinated with the trees in the snow in Michigan.

It sucks that the year didn’t go how you planned, I know sometimes that can be a pain. But I’m glad to see you were able to have some good experiences anyways! 🙂 I really love the photo you got of the musical pipe building in Dresden. That’s something I would definitely love to see!
