Are you looking for ways to get involved with Nashville animal rescue? There are plenty of different organizations and methods of helping animals via breed or species-specific rescues, wildlife rescue, farmed animal activism and much more. As a vegan and animal activist, I know I personally have looked for all the best ways to get involved in my community and after attending my first Nashville Animal Save and Anonymous for the Voiceless demonstration recently, activism is going to become a bigger part of my life. I tend to do a lot of daily activism and vegan outreach but want to start being more involved in organizations.

Nashville Dog Rescue Organizations

Nashville Pittie

As a pitbull lover and Mom, I’m definitely drawn towards the pit bull specific organizations.  Nashville PITTIE is an advocacy group built on the principle of education through compassion. PITTIE stands for “Pit Bull Initiative to Transform Image and Educate”. Nashville PITTIE’s goal is to restore the Pit bull’s positive image by dispelling myths surrounding the breeds called “Pit bulls” through education, promoting responsible ownership, and promoting spay/neuter programs. Nashville PITTIE strives to bring to light the true character Pit Bulls and the invaluable contributions they make as family pets and service companions, as they have for generations.

The Save Movement started in December 2010 with the inception of Toronto Pig Save. Today there are 130+ groups in Canada, the US, Australia and elsewhere.

Nashville Animal Save is in its first year of establishment and, at the moment, you can join weekly Chicken Vigils near the Tyson plant in Shelbyville on Monday mornings.

Let’s continue the animal rights gospel. Don’t forget movies made of animals and animals never paid. Those who keep dogs for security reasons, but police officer never paid. Why Zimbabwe and Zambia Elephants called trophies? Why people stand and watch safari animals eat each other while they are filming on Japanese camera. Why won’t Japan stop making these cameras and computers used invading animal privacy. People still deny animals education. I am in animal salvation bushiness.

Thank you for sharing this very informative article. I hope this will inspire people to join animal rescue and be active in their various campaigns. Dogs especially need care as many are abandoned and left alone. Thanks for sharing.
